CPOs & CIOs must join forces ASAP...

Updated: Apr 19, 2018

A friend of mine with a small business got siphoned over $100,000 last week when his business email was hijacked, and a hacker took control of his email communication with his CPA! They asked - supposedly on his behalf - to set-up a couple of new suppliers and pay each one of them an advanced payment for a new project kicking-off, which had been done in the past...

Don't laugh...! This could happen to you or your company! 27% of successful hacking or hijacking happen due to human communication errors or actions... despite most advanced firewalls and powerful email filters... small or large businesses alike...

And here is a kicker: a recent study estimates that 63 percent of #cybersecurity breaches come through, or are partially facilitated by, a supplier or third party. CAPS Research's Thomas Choi and CSU's Zac Rogers cover five archetypes of breaches and mitigation strategies at #ISM2018. https://goo.gl/agcKUA .

If you are a Board Audit committee member, a CEO, a CPO or a CIO, you should attend this ISM presentation, discuss it and implement a solid cyber security program with your entire supply chain.

We can help you get there too...
